Kundalini Dance Meditation

4:00 - 5:00 PM Sundays at Bodhi Tree Yoga Studio in the Dragon Building

"To dance until the dancer is lost and only the dancing remains."

We will be practicing Osho's Kundalini Dance Meditation. This practice combines shaking, free-form movement, meditation, and stillness to activate and energize the body while calming the mind. Blissful & energizing, it is easy, fun, highly enjoyable, and revitalizing.

This class is suitable for dancers of all levels & backgrounds. You will be most comfortable if you bring a Yoga mat or blanket for the final phases.

Core Energetics: Isolations at the Chakras

5:10 - 6:00 PM Sundays at Bodhi Tree Yoga Studio in the Dragon Building

When we physically stimulate the chakras through balanced isolations, we stimulate, clean up, and begin regulating our energy flow. I will be teaching a powerful set of movements that clear and open the chakras in preparation for connecting to divine source. The practice is simple to learn yet highly effective.

This class is suitable for intermediate, advanced, and professional dancers, as well as for those with solid backgrounds in Yoga, Qigong or Internal Martial Arts. A lot more information is also available in my articles on the topic:

Ongoing Sacred Dance Events available on Kaua'i:

Ancient, sacred dance of Hawai'i. So full of wisdom encodified in dance. Good for the body, mind, and soul. So many Halaus to choose from, each with their own Kumu and class schedules. Most open to new enrollment once a year, a little research will help you find the right one for you.

Tai Chi with Ringo

Every Tuesday from 5:30 PM - sunset + every Saturday from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Kapa'a Beach, behind the Coral Reef Resort.

One of the many beautiful things about Hawai'i is that being in the middle of the Pacific, it forms a cultural bridge between the East and the West. Wisdom and knowledge from the Far East is represented abundantly here, including the energy work of the Internal Martial Arts. Ringo teaches Qi Gong warm-ups followed by Tai Chi practice twice a week.

Free Qigong with Ringo

Every Thursday from 8:00 AM - 9:15 AM at Kapa'a Beach, behind the Coral Reef Resort.

Focusing on the Rejuvenation Series & Golden 8 Series

Everywhere, constantly.

There are so many gifted Yoga teachers on the island that an entire website could easily be devoted to them. Ask around and you are sure to find the right style, teacher, and schedule for your needs. Eagle at Pineapple Yoga is a good place to start in the Kilauea area.

Everywhere, constantly.

Yes, surfing is a form of Ecstatic Dance and the Ocean is one of the most sacred teachers you will ever find. To get started, I recommend Titus's school. For a very reasonable fee, his instructors will not only get you off on the right foot, they'll figure out which foot is the right one for you! Plus, they're great cheerleaders and a small investment in learning how to stand on your board and read incoming waves is well worth it!
